There’s still a chance to get tickets to see British para-dressage riders in action at the Paralympics next summer.
Paradressage is one of the sports that has “good availability” for tickets.
Olympic organiser LOCOG has confirmed the remaining tickets will go on sale on Friday 2 December.
The tickets will be on a first-come-first-served basis and will be on sale from 1pm.
There are also tickets for athletics, wheelchair basketball and swimming.
“To have sold over one million tickets worldwide for next year’s Paralympic Games is unprecedented and underlines the growing appeal of Paralympic sport,” said Sir Philip Craven, president of the International Paralympic Committee. “The chance to see the biggest names in some of the best venues does not come round very often and this is an opportunity too good to miss for the British public.”
Tim Hollingsworth, from the British Paralympic Association added: “We want to ensure every stadium is packed with British fans cheering on the GB team so we urge anyone out there who hasn’t yet applied for tickets to get online on and secure your tickets to see British athletes take on the world.”
The Paralympics runs from 29 August to 9 September.
The para-equestrian events take place in Greenwich from 30 August to 4 September.
Full price tickets start at just £10, with tickets for young people and seniors costing only £5.
Tickets will be available from www.tickets.london2012.com or via telephone on 0844 847 2012.
