Moorland Mousie Exmoor pony book series to be reprinted

  • A 1920’s book series based on the life of an Exmoor pony is to be reprinted to raise funds for the Moorland Mousie Trust.

The relaunch of the Moorland Mousie books, by Golden Gorse (Muriel Wace), was announced during a visit by the Duchess of Cornwall to the Trust headquarters on 11 July.

Valerie Sherwin, founder of the Exmoor-based pony charity, said: “We hope that the book will give a new lease of life to the Moorland Mousie stories.”

Copies can be brought direct from the charity’s shop at the Exmoor Pony Centre in Ashwick, Dulverton, Somerset.
