Maxavita to launch two new supplements at BETA

  • Supplement manufacturers Maxavita are due to launch two new products to add to their “Maxa Range” at BETA (British Equestrian Trade Association) International trade show (20-22 February).

“What differentiates the range is the patented green lipped mussel extract that contains the highest level of Omega 3 ETA Fatty acids. These are known to be beneficial for joint, skin, eye, heart and brain health,” said a spokesman for the company.

MaxaBiotic aims to encourage the growth of friendly bacteria to maintain a healthy digestive system and promote overall gut health.

The Green Lipped Mussel extract helps to ease irritation and promotes general intestinal health. It is suitable for feeding in times of stress and as a daily supplement for horses with digestive health issues.

MaxaPower contains muscle building formula that is said to help support healthy circulation and muscle function in working horses.

Neil Hammill from Maxavita, said: “Research has consistently shown that green lipped mussel can bring significant benefits to horses suffering from problems caused by inflammation such as joint pain and respiratory conditions.

“The addition of MaxaPower and MaxaBiotic has enabled us to offer a more comprehensive range or products to support a wide variety of health issues.”

Maxavita has also been nominated for the 2011 SEIB Retailer of the Year BETA award.
