Madonna

  • The newest members of William Fox-Pitt’s Eventing Club are Madonna’s children. Lourdes and Rocco were given their membership after Madonna and Fox-Pitt were introduced by sponsor Hunter.

“William and Madonna are getting on very well and have been meeting and riding,” said a spokesperson for Fox-Pitt Eventing Club.

Madonna is a keen horsewoman, despite suffering a broken hand, ribs and collarbone in a riding accident last year. Her meetings with Fox-Pitt have inspired her to plan a three-day event course at her Wiltshire country estate and she is hoping to attend Badminton in May.

A hundred people have joined Fox-Pitt Eventing Club since it was launched last autumn. Club members will have a vested interest in the club horses, Imran and Dylan who will be competing with Fox-Pitt at pre novice level next season.

A pre-season stable visit has been arranged giving members the opportunity to meet the club horses (25 February) and they will also be invited back to Fox-Pitt’s yard for an end of season party.

Fox-Pitt will take club members on a course walk at Badminton and a Club marquee will be available to them at events where the club horses are competing. A welcome pack and regular club updates are also included in the £99 annual membership fee.
