Essex-based Longwood Equestrian Centre have rebuked claims they have the equine disease strangles at their premises.
Rumours have been circulating that the yard in Basildon, Essex has been infected, yet the centre says there are no grounds to the claims.
A spokesman from Longwood Equestrian Centre told H&H: “We definitely do not have strangles. We have one vet on site and no cases have been reported to him.
“There have been cases in the area, which always leads to rumours, but we definitely have had no cases here.”
