London Olympics supremo joins the FEI

  • Tim Hadaway, widely credited for the success of last year’s Olympic and Paralympic equestrian competitions, has joined the staff of horse sport’s governing body as its new “games co-ordinator”.

Mr Hadaway, who was equestrian competition manager at Greenwich, will be director of the FEI’s newly created games and championships department.

The role will involve working closely with the organisers of championships and starts with next year’s Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy.

Mr Hadaway said: “I look forward to using my experiences, particularly those from London 2012, to assist and support future organising committees.”
