Liz Edgar fractures both ankles and twists knee in fall

  • Showjumping stalwart Liz Edgar has fractured both ankles and “severely twisted” her knee in a fall at home in Warwickshire.

Liz, aged 67, was training on Tuesday 20 July and “came out the side door” after a mistake over an oxer, she told H&H.

“They are just small fractures and I’m not in plaster, I just need to keep off my feet for a while,” said Liz, who is based in Warwickshire.

“But I’ve given my knee a hammering. I’m going to see a consultant on Thursday (5 August) so will know more then but hopefully I won’t be off for too long.”
