Sculptures of a life-sized shire horse, a rearing stallion and a pony and trap made out of horseshoes will be among the lots at an auction in July.
Retired Cumbrian joiner and carpenter Donald Punton used hundreds of discarded horseshoes to create the sculptures over the past 10 years.
But now he and his wife Winifred are moving to a bungalow and the artworks are up for sale.
The auction takes place at the Penrith Farmers’ & Kidd’s sale on 23 July.
