Ten life-size horse sculptures are to be sold for charity this weekend at Cheltenham racecourse.
The 10 horses were positioned around the town earlier this year (1 August – 15 October) leading from Montpellier – the top of the shopping area – through to Cheltenham racecourse, as part of the Festival’s centenary celebrations.
Artists including Sally Lancaster, PJ Crook, Sam Charles Hodgson, Alison Little and Lincoln Seligman decorated the sculptures.
The horses will be auctioned off during Cheltenham racecourse’s The Open meeting (Friday 11-Sunday 13 November) and will be displayed at the racecourse during the meeting around the parade ring.
Bids can be made in person or emailed to sophia.wilson@cheltenham.gov.uk.
Bidding will close at 4pm on Sunday 13 November and the successful bids will be announced after racing.
