Kentucky Horsewear has a new “easy to fit” tail guard to help to ensure your horse arrives at a show with a clean and un-rubbed tail.
The company, better known for protective horse boots, has launched the tail guard costing £25.
Unlike many tail guards on the market, which are all one piece, the Kentucky Horsewear tail guard comes as two separate pieces – a neoprene guard and 150D polyester bag.
This allows the rider to put on the tail guard first, securing the three Velcro straps for a good fit before putting the rest of the tail into the bag and attach to the tail guard with a Velcro strap and draw string pull.
