Janice Cockley-Adams out of British WEG endurance squad

  • Janice Cockley-Adams has been forced to withdraw from the British endurance squad at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, USA.

Janice’s ride Roxanne Du Bout Du Monde has suffered a training injury.

Her place has been taken by reserve Sarah Rogerson, 23, riding FFC First Csea Lord. This eight-year-old horse is based in America, so was able to travel to the Kentucky Horse Park at short notice.

Sarah and FFC First Csea Lord were sixth in a CEI*** 160km ride at Ocala, Florida, in January this year.

All the British endurance horses passed the trot-up this morning. Sarah will ride as the individual, with Beccy Broughton-Brooker, Ros Clapp, Christine Yeoman and David Yeoman making up the team.

The endurance race starts at 7.30am tomorrow morning local time (12.30pm in Britain).
