I’Anson Brothers win a Queen’s Award for Enterprise

  • Horse feed manufacturers, I’Anson Brothers, has won a 2008 Queen’s Award for Enterprise for their product Speedi-Beet.

The award, which is in the innovation category, is for the development of their quick soaking sugar beet feed Speedi-Beet — which can absorb up to five times its weight of water in under 10 minutes.

Due to its low starch and high fibre content Speedi-Beet is also the only sugar beet feed to be approved by the Laminitis Trust.

Sales director Will I’Anson accepted the award at a winner’s celebration at the Gladstone Library in Whitehall, London on Tuesday 24 April.

Mr I’Anson said: “We are delighted to receive the Queen’s award. It is a very proud achievement for the I’Anson family and I would like to thank everyone who has contributed towards our success.”
