Equine welfare charity The Brooke is urging people across the country to host a 1930’s-themed Glitz and Glamour party to raise money for working horses worldwide.
The Brooke — which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year — offers veterinary treatment to working animals and supports the livelihoods of poor owners around the world.
Their latest campaign aims to get supporters dressed up, having fun and raising money.

“I’m looking forward to hosting a 1930’s-themed party. Not only will you have a great time with your friends and family but you’ll be raising vital funds to help The Brooke continue its wonderful work.”
The charity supports a network of mobile veterinary teams and field clinics providing equine treatment and education for communities in ten of the poorest countries in the world including Ethiopia, India and Guatemala. Their aim is to improve the welfare of at least two million working horses, donkeys and mules in the next five years.
