A trailer containing more than a tonne of marijuana — and a horse —was seized by police in Arizona, USA, last week (26 September).
The Santa Cruz County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Investigative Task Force were on the look out for the trailer after a drugs smuggling investigation.
The trailer was stopped when officers noticed that it was failing to stay in its lane.
Once forces opened the trailer they discovered 116 bundles of marijuana, weighing more than 2,900 pounds, as well as a horse.
A photo, which has been released by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), shows the horse standing among the wrapped packages of the drug.
The driver of the trailer ran away when he was stopped and has not yet been caught.
The horse has been handed over to Santa Cruz County Animal Control.
