Horse & Country TV has won the “best specialist channel” at the Broadcast Digital Awards.
The channel was short-listed in the category for the second year running and this year fought off tough competition from the Food Network UK and the Horror Channel.
The Broadcast Digital Awards, run by Broadcast magazine, are held every year to celebrate the best in digital television.
In the best specialist channel category entrants are required to demonstrate innovation, creative programming and scheduling, as well as a clear appeal to the specialist audience.
The award was presented on 15 June in London.
Horse & Country TV’s Heather Killen said: “We are thrilled to win this award. It’s a testament to the efforts of team, who have worked so hard over the past two years to give the equestrian sector the channel it deserves.”
