| Horse & Hound Online is launching a brand new initiative aimed at recognising outstanding achievements within the equine world.
The ‘Real Horse of the Year’ Awards aim to recognise and reward the most deserving horses from the following two categories: Competition Horses and Companion Horses. The Competition horse category is open to horses and ponies who have either been through a traumatic experience and come through it against the odds to go on and compete successfully, or helped their owners overcome adversity to achieve competition success. The Companion Horse category is open to horses and ponies who have drastically improved the quality of their owners’, riders’, or carers’ lives.
The owner of the winning horse will receive a jacket, top, jodhpurs and performance footwear from Saddlecraft. The “Real Horse of the Year” will enjoy a year’s supply of Blue Chip plus products including a rug a bridle from Olympian. The nominator will recieve a Saddlecraft jacket worth £70 and tub of Blue Chip original.
Two equine runners up will receive an Olympian Excel leather bridle and a sack of BlueChip, with their nominators taking home a goodie bag containing Saddlecraft, Olympian and Blue Chip merchandise. All short-listed horse will receive a commemorative rosette.
