Record entries have been received for this years Great Yorkshire Show, which takes place in Harrogate from 10-12 July.
Overall showing entries are up to more than 2,000, with records broken in five native pony sections and riding pony breeding the latter having almost doubled from last year.
Bob Ellis takes over as show jumping course-builder for the first time, and the winners purse for the Ripon Select Foods Cock O the North class now stands at £7,000.
Spectators can also look forward to some fabulous offers on the Horse & Hound stand (no.148) at the show. Free copies of HORSE magazine will be available as well as lots of instant prizes, including Alpha dog feed, Spillers treats, Net-Tex products and more plus £500 of Harry Hall, Cottage Craft & Masta gear.
