Foal stolen aged just six days — police launch appeal

  • North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information about the whereabouts of a foal that was stolen aged just six days.

The filly, born on 5 June, was taken overnight on 11-12 June from a field in Badger Butt Lane, Calton, near Skipton.

The owner believes the thieves may have drugged the mare to get close to the foal.

The filly is dark bay, with a wide blaze and snip and a white sock on her off hind.
