Fire at Pachesham EC — no horses or people hurt

  • Fire ripped through the yard and hay barn at Pachesham Equestrian Centre last night, but no horses or people were hurt.

Seventeen stables, two mobile homes and a car were lost in the blaze, but the centre proposes to go ahead with a British Dressage competition being held there tomorrow (16 October).

According to early reports, the centre in Randalls Road, Leatherhead, Surrey, has lost its entire hay supplies.
