Farewell to equine therapy expert Sue Norrington

  • Former director of HR Medics Sue Norrington has died.

She was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer in January this year and passed away on 4 July.

Sue had been involved in the field of equine therapy for 40 years at the helm of HR Medics Ltd in Newmarket, a company specialising in innovative natural equine therapy.

The company ceased to trade in March this year.

Sue’s knowledge of equine therapy was unsurpassed and her research and innovation in this field provided care and relief for horses across every discipline.

She was a cheerful, charismatic character, she was full of enthusiasm for the health and welfare of the horse, always looking for the next product to advance their care.

Her knowledge is now sadly lost to the equine world, but the work and enthusiasm for her chosen profession will be long remembered by those who knew her.
