Emily King, daughter of Olympic event rider Mary King, is helping to develop a jewellery range for her new sponsors — Hi Ho Silver.
HiHo managing director Andrew Ransford said: “All of the team here at Hiho is excited about developing a new jewellery collection with Emily, which is now in its “final furlong” of development.
“We are delighted to have Emily on board and look forward to supporting her in her future eventing career.
Emily, 14, finished in third place in the BE (British Eventing) 100 class at Twesledown last month on the promising six-year-old, Mr Hiho, named after the jewellery company based in Forde Abbey near Chard in Somerset.
Emily is “over the moon” with her new sponsorship.
“Hiho’s headquarters are in the west country, near where I live, so when I needed to find sponsorship for my new horse, I decided to approach them,” she said, adding: “It’s amazing to have their backing.”
Mr HiHo finished third at Larkhill on 10 April, ridden by Emily’s mother, Mary.
