Dartmoor foal-handling day to take place again

  • An award-winning course that helps people learn how to handle Dartmoor foals proved so popular in 2010 that it will return this year.

Run by the Dartmoor Pony Training Centre (DPTC), the semi-feral foal-handling course is run by tutor Sarah Weston, who specialises in foal training.

Last year the course was a sell-out, with one participant travelling from Majorca to attend.

The five-day course costs £250 and runs from 24-28 October at Widcombe-in-the-Moor near Newton Abbot, Devon.

To book your place on the course, tel 07751 218093 or email dartmoorponytrainingcentre@yahoo.co.uk.
