The HorseWorld charity in Bristol is holding an open viewing day of all of the horses they have available for re-homing on Saturday 5 September.
They hope to find permanent homes for around 100 of their rescued horses and ponies.
Sasha Holden, HorseWorld’s head of re-homing, said “We have a huge number of wonderful horses and ponies in our care, including gentle and kind companions who can’t be ridden for various reasons but who are desperate to be loved.
“They really do deserve the chance to be given a rewarding and fulfilling life, with someone who is as passionate about their welfare as we are.
“By finding homes for these horses, we are able to free up vital resources to enable us to help animals in the future which may be in desperate need”.
The viewing is open to people who are experienced in horse care and feel they may be able to offer a long-term home to a horse or pony and live within an hours and half’s drive of the centre.
Booking for the event is essential and all enquiries should be directed to Pip Eyles on 01275 893034 or email pip.eyles@horseworld.org.uk
