The Cotswold Cart Horse Society holds its Spring Working Show on Sunday (18 May) at Oxstalls Farm, Frampton Mansell in Gloucestershire.
There will be classes for working horses, a showcase of horse drawn equipment, demonstrations of rural crafts such as dry stone walling and a display of vintage tractors.
Many breeds of heavy horses will be at the show including Shires, Clydesdales and Suffolk Punches as well as native ponies and lighter horses.
Four Suffolk Punches — a breed that is on the critical register of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust — will be working in harness and there is also the chance to see a Suffolk Punch mare with her three-week-old foal.
