Tweseldown’s organiser to step down

  • Brynley Powell is stepping down from his role as the organiser of Tweseldown Horse Trials at the end of this year.

With Brynley’s input, the venue has undergone a rejuvenation during recent years, but he has also had to contend with various battles to keep the event up and running, including restrictions imposed by Natural England.

“After 12 years, I have decided to hand over the role from 2015,” he told H&H. “We have not yet confirmed who will be taking over, but we have a few people in mind. I do hope to be involved in the event over the next few years in an advisory capacity.”
