3 British showjumpers have qualified for the Longines FEI World Cup final in Lyon, France, next month. In the 2013-2014 Western European League standings, Scott Brash finished second behind Germany’s Marcus Ehning after the final qualifier took place in Gothenberg, Sweden (1-2 March).
Scott is joined in the top 18 by Tim Gredley, Belgium-based Joe Clee and Irishman Billy Twomey. Michael Whitaker, in 19th, faces an anxious wait to see if someone will drop out to discover whether he too will make it through to the final.
