After nearly a week of competition at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, Britain is in fifth position in the medal table (calculated on number of gold medals, and then silvers, and then bronzes).
America leads, after taking two golds and a silver in reining, plus a bronze in dressage. The Netherlands’ strength in dressage puts it second with two golds.
The UAE is third after a gold, a silver and a bronze in endurance — but is likely to slip down the table having played its strongest card.
Spain’s individual gold in the endurance puts it fourth, while Britain’s two dressage silvers put it in fifth.
