Body thought to be missing racehorse trainer Owen Brennan found


  • The body of a man, thought to be missing racehorse trainer Owen Brennan, has been found in a river in Derby.

    Police have not yet confirmed the identity, but have said they think it is Mr Brennan.

    The body was discovered in the River Derwent by a passer by at around 12.10pm today (Wednesday 9 January).

    The 77-year-old trainer has not been seen since leaving his home in Wheeldon Avenue, Derby on 17 December. He was on medication after suffering a stroke in September.
