Badminton Horse Trials weather is set fair

  • What a difference a year makes. In contrast to 2012, the weather looks set fair as the final countdown to Badminton Horse Trials begins.

A ridge of high pressure lies over the south of England, ensuring sunny intervals, light winds and only a small chance of a shower.

Daytime temperatures are expected to be around 12 to 15°C, with a possible peak of 18°C on Sunday afternoon — well above the seasonal average.

The Met Office is forecasting “dry, fine and pleasant days, with chilly nights” up until the weekend. Showers are most likely on Saturday, but should clear by Sunday.
