Aigle launches new foldable wellington boot

  • French footwear brand Aigle is introducing a new foldable wellington boot.

The “rubberpack” boots – which can be worn either rolled up or down as ankle boots – will be launched in April 2012.

The boots are compact and lightweight and come with their own storage bag so that they can be carried anywhere.

An Aigle spokesperson told H&H: “[The boots are aimed at] any female who has an interest in outdoor activities and still wants to look stylish and likes to travel light.”

They come in four colours; marine, khaki, brown and black and cost £75.

Aigle was established in 1853 and most of their rubber footwear products are still handmade in France using natural rubber.
