Liphook Equine Hospital is to undergo a £2million expansion.
A new diagnostic and examination building, intensive care suite and AI and breeding unit are to be built at the site on the Sussex/Hampshire border.
New state-of-the-art X-ray and bone scan equipment will be installed, alongside the MRI suite, built last year.
And in-patient capacity will be increased to 55.
“This is the most ambitious project in our 35-year history” said Liphook’s Jeremy Mantell.
Liphook employs nearly 90 staff and a new admin building to house the reception, office and vet teams — as well as improved parking — forms part of the plans.
Building will take place over the next nine months, during which time Mr Mantell said it will be “business as usual”.
