£10,000 saddlery theft in Northamptonshire


  • Northamptonshire police are asking riders to be on their guard after thieves stole 10 saddles and eight bridles from the tack room of a property in Hemmington near Oundle, Northants on 27 June.

    The thieves escaped with more than £10,000 worth of tack, and police are asking riders to watch out for it and let them know if they are offered it for sale.

    The saddles were:

    Albion close contact jumping saddle
    Albion dressage saddle in black leather with suede seat
    Sue Carson close contact jumping saddle
    Jeffries black leather dressage saddle
    Jeffries Hawk Event GP saddle in tan leather
    Pig skin jumping saddle in orange and tan leather
    Wintech black jumping saddle
    Wintech black dressage saddle
    Swiss leather saddle with white shield to side
    Brown leather saddle
