Fans of former England footballer Michael Owen will be able to see him more regularly on TV, as the star has signed a two-year deal with Racing UK.
He will make regular appearances on the specialist racing channel and take part in marketing campaigns.
Michael owns and manages the Cheshire training yard Manor House Stables which has 90 thoroughbreds including the Royal Ascot winner Brown Panther.
“I am delighted to be joining Racing UK and linking up with a racing partner who supports the industry. Hopefully, we can work together in growing the appeal of this wonderful sport,” he said.
Racing UK broadcasts over 739 live race meetings annually, with commentary and tipping from 34 of the UK’s racecourses.
