Trevor Morse death: accused denies manslaughter


  • The pilot of the gyrocopter involved in the death of Warwickshire Hunt supporter Trevor Morse has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter.

    Bryan Griffiths, 54, is alleged to have killed Mr Morse (pictured right) unlawfully on 9 March at Long Marston airfield near Stratford Upon Avon.

    Mr Morse suffered severe head injuries after he was struck by the blades of the aircraft.

    Mr Griffiths, of Wiltshire Close, Bedworth, pleaded not guilty at Birmingham Crown Court yesterday (5 October). He faces trial on 1 March next year, at a venue to be fixed.
