EK-Class
Equipe has lanched a new EK-Class saddle specifically designed for cross-country riding.
Developed as part of the E-Carbon range, the new EK-Class has inherited all the qualities of traditional Italian craftsmanship along with the revolutionary carbon fibre saddle tree. This means it’s not only highly technical, but also extremely lightweight and beautiful to boot!
Made of high quality Italian leather, the saddle adheres to Equipe’s commitment regarding attention to detail, innovative design, comfort and tailoring.
It’s fitted with a double set of rings to make attaching breastplates and air jackets easier and features a forward cut flap, surface mounted blocks and adapted knee rolls to provide perfect support for the cross-country riding position. Available only in single flap, the saddle also boasts a new girthing configuration to help reduce pressure.
Like all the saddles in the E-Carbon range, the new cross-country model can also be customised to suit the rider’s position in the saddle, while respecting their build. This ensures that Equipe is able to meet special requirements with regards to opening up the saddle tree, panel shape, size of flaps and choice of knee rolls.

The Olympia Saddle
Equipe’s Olympia saddle is ergonomically designed to offer the best riding position.
It was launched on the back of the success of Equipe’s Emporio model, or the ‘Charlotte’ as it’s also known because it was used by Charlotte Dujardin at the 2012 Olympics. Crafted exclusively in-house and individually finished in luxurious Italian leather, the Olympia has all the benefits of the Emporio saddle used by the Olympic gold medallist.
Its innovative synthetic saddle tree and flat structure of the seat allows the rider to sit closer to the horse to enhance comfort. The saddle uses a block and flap system with specially designed knee-rolls, a firm favourite with many top equestrians, as it gives an effective riding stance.

Ben says it’s the best
Equipe’s EK-Evo jump saddle (£3,500 RRP) has the widest seat (27cm) of the E-carbon range, offering riders more support. Made of high quality Italian leather, the saddle adheres to Equipe’s commitment regarding attention to detail, innovative design, comfort and tailoring.
Like all the saddles in the E-Carbon range, it can also be customised to suit the rider’s position in the saddle, while respecting their build. The E-shaped saddle panels perfectly adapt to contact surfaces, guaranteeing even more support for the saddle on the horse’s back. It is the saddle of choice for top eventer Blyth Tait.
