Would you like to pick the brains of one of the country’s leading showmen? Now is your chance!
Robert Walker, who is renowned for success in the show ring riding hunters and cobs, is guest editing our showing special (on sale 17 March) and we are offering readers a chance to send in their questions for him. We will pick our favourites, ask Robert to answer them, and publish the answers online.
Perhaps you need tips for preparing your horse for the show ring, are wondering what is the best kit to wear or want to know how Robert gets his horses to perform so well in the ring?
Or maybe you’d like to know which show horse past or present he’d most like the ride on, how he chooses ponies for his children, how he trains at home and which items he relies on to make coats gleam and tails shine.
Robert knows what the judges are looking for and he could even share the common mistakes he sees other riders making in the ring.
Send your questions to aimi.clark@timeinc.com by Wednesday 9 March.
