To celebrate the stallion Chilli Morning winning the 2015 Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials under William Fox-Pitt, we bring you a gallery of his offspring, sent in by our readers.
Originally produced by Nick Gauntlett, Chilli Morning is the only stallion to ever win the prestigious Gloucestershire four-star event.
Chilli Morning, owned by Christopher Stone is a TB/Trakehner cross, but with the TB stallion Deadly Nightshade in the fourth generation on the dam side, he is 56.25% TB.
This is event rider Gemma Tattersall’s team of youngsters by Chilli Morning. Gemma, who is based on the estate of Chilli Morning’s owner Christopher Stone, rides many of the Badminton winner’s progeny.
Gemma Tattersall riding six-year-old one-star eventer Chillis Gem (owned by Christopher Stone) who is out of former four-star event mare Kings Gem.
10-month-old colt foal Chillis Midnight Star (pictured at 10-weeks-old, owned by Nikki Axon) is out of Midnight Wispa (a thoroughbred x warmblood mare) who is out of Welton Ballerina and by a Belgian sports pony stallion called Laban. Midnight Wispa has just returned to novice eventing after weaning.

A 2015 foal by Chilli Morning out of three-star event mare Quicklook V (campaigned by Gemma Tattersall) via embryo transfer.
One of the Chilli Morning-sired youngsters US-based New Zealand event rider Joe Meyer has growing up in Mamaku in New Zealand at the moment. This is a four-year-old brown filly by Chilli Morning out of Bertha (by Val D’Arno) Her grand dam has the same lines as Mark Todd’s multi-Olympic gold-medallist Charisma and Joe Meyer’s former four-star horse Sanskrit.

This 10-month-old foal (pictured at four-months-old), is called Wilde Nights, by Chilli Morning out of a Coolmore Stud bred Thoroughbred mare by Oscar, owned by Suzanne Harley-Davies. This colt will eventually be evented by Yorkshire-based rider James Sommerville.
