The FEI European Championships in Aachen get underway this evening (Tuesday 11 August) with the official opening ceremony. About the 2015 FEI European Championships
The 2015 European dressage and showjumping championships are being held at Aachen in Germany (11-23 August) as part of the Longines FEI European Championships, which also hosts the Europeans for reining, vaulting and four-in-hand driving.
There is an eventing CICO 3* competition also being held at Aachen, but this is not the Longines FEI European Eventing Championships, which are being held at Blair Castle in Scotland in September. However, a number of British combinations selected for Blair will be competing at Aachen.
