Zara Phillips supports Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund

  • Eventing World Champion Zara Phillips has become patron of the Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund (MDIRF).

BBC sports personality of the year in 2006, Zara has always felt strongly about equestrian safety issues. Last year she lost a friend, Sherelle Duke, in an eventing accident at Brockenhurst Park.

Zara said the MDRIF “is a vitally important charity which does so much to protect and support injured riders and their families”.
