Antipodean riders dominated the Olympic Horse Feeds-sponsored CIC** at Somerley Park, with Australias Paul Tapner (Stormhill Michael) holding off a strong challenge from Matt Ryan (Slight Of Hand). Andrew Nicholson rode Deborah Sellars Nereo into third place.
Georgie Spence and Song For Gull finished finishing fourth in the CIC** and won the Jump Savings Fund-sponsored young rider trial, which was incorporated into the CIC**. Georgie was also second and fourth on her two other rides, Running Brook II and Trenear, while Hannah Bucknell and Woodlands Talisman finished third.
Claire Phillips won the advanced intermediate section on Capuchin, and was second on Ginger Charlie.
A late arrival did not put open intermediate winner Kitty Boggis off her stride with General Opposition as she snatched victory from Andrew Nicholson on Ginger May Killinghurst.
Intermediate section A was won by Aimee Mowbray on After Eight, while Clayton Fredericks took section B riding Poilu.
