Rolex cements links with Kentucky three-day event

  • Rolex has confirmed it will continue as title sponsor and timekeeper of the Kentucky three-day event.

It follows uncertainty about the company’s role, after it was ousted as the FEI’s main sponsor by rival watchmaker Longines.

The agreement meant Rolex could no longer sponsor the FEI world jumping rankings.

But last week the US Equestrian Federation (USEF) said Rolex would remain its “official timepiece” and title sponsor of Kentucky and the USEF showjumping rankings.

“Kentucky is synonymous with Rolex,” said John Long of USEF.
