Ever dreamed of riding round the hallowed turf of Badminton? Well, now you can – albeit in a virtual world.
Eventing heroine and six-times Badminton winner Lucinda Green has launched a new computer game – Lucinda Green’s Equestrian Challenge – that enables players to ‘ride’ round some of the world’s most famous event courses under Lucinda’s expert eye.
Players will receive lessons from Lucinda before tackling the official Grand-Slam events – Badminton, Burghley, Adelaide and Kentucky. ‘Riders’ will be evaluated on timing, control and appearance, and can choose the style of their clothes and the face markings, patterns and breed of their virtual horse.
The likes of Mary King, Phillip Dutton and Karin Donkers also feature in the game and there are a range of levels for players of all ages.
Lucinda Green’s Equestrian Challenge is available on CD-ROM and PS2 for £19.99.
