Pippa Funnell joins Badminton BBC TV team

  • Pippa Funnell, Tina Cook and Ian Stark will be joining the BBC’s regular commentary team — led by presenter Clare Balding — at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials.

The BBC has dedicated even more airtime to the event this year. There will be live coverage on BBC2 from 12.30-4.30pm on the Saturday, while viewers with interactive TV can tune in at 10.50am. There will also be live streaming of all the cross-country action at bbc.co.uk/sport.

There will be further coverage on Sunday from 2-3pm, bringing viewers up to date briefly with the previous day’s action and then following the final show jumping.

Michael Cole, editor of BBC Sport said: “We had a great response last year from H&H readers. Please email comments on this year’s coverage to eventing@bbc.co.uk”
