Olympic eventer Tina Cook appeals for foster mare

  • Olympic eventer Tina Cook is appealing for anyone with a mare that has recently lost a foal to foster a colt after her brood mare died this morning (Tuesday 2 June).

Eighteen-year-old advanced mare Douce De Longvaut, whose last event was Burghley CCI**** in 2002, died from a twisted gut after foaling the colt at Dairy House Stud in Warminster at 4am today.

    It was her fifth foal.

Tina has contacted the National Foaling Bank.

Anyone able to help is asked to contact Melissa Oligario on 07894 290563.
