Lying in fourth and fifth after dressage on Stanly and Madame Folie Bergere, Polly Williamson notched up two faultless cross-country rounds, but while Madame Folie Bergere jumped a copybook round in the show jumping to take the runner-up spot, Stanly became unsettled and collected 20 faults.
Louisa Lockwood and her own Tis Wat added nothing more to their dressage mark of 45, promoting them from 11th to third place.
Vicky Tuffss clear show jumping round on Rudolf III moved her into fourth, just ahead of Tom Strong on Shalmiro Cavalier, with Katie Barber riding the ex-racehorse Analytical into sixth.
