Tickets for the Mark Todd and Friends lecture demonstration are selling fast, so book now to avoid disappointment
Equestrian enthusiasts who want to glean top tips for eventing successfrom double Olympic eventing champion Mark Todd, should book their tickets now or risk missing out on a unique opportunity.
Horse & Hound is bringing Mark Todd back to the UK for a single night’s lecture/ demonstration at Solihull Riding Club, West Midlands on Monday 8 July, starting at 7.30pm, and tickets are selling fast.
“There were more than 2,000 tickets available initially, but they are selling at such a rate that we expect the evening to be a complete sell out,” said event organiser Carrie Cort.
An evening not to be missed
Mark will be joined by eventing legend Ginny Elliot, who will be providing expert commentary throughout the lecture/demonstration, as well as British team member Leslie Law.
The evening will begin with advice from Mark on improving your dressage performance. Simulated cross-country fences will be used to illustrate Mark’s training methods for the wide range of fences in the speed and endurance phase, while common problems associated with show jumping will also be covered.
Novice and advanced horses, ridden by Leslie, and up-and-coming young event riders Chris King and Kylie Roddy, will be used as “guinea pigs” throughout the evening, with Mark demonstrating his techniques from the ground and in the saddle.
Visitors to the event will also be invited to ask Mark, Ginny and Leslie for their solutions to eventing problems during a question and answer session.
