Eventing gets Hall of Fame

  • Do you have an eventing hero — with two legs or four — who deserves to be recognised for their contribution to the sport? If so, be sure to nominate them for a place in the Eventing Hall of Fame.

The brainchild of the Event Riders’ Association (ERA), the Hall of Fame has been launched to celebrate the achievements of the people and horses who have played starring roles in the sport over the years.

Nominations, which are open to non-ERA members, can be made online — www.eventridersassociation.com — and the first batch of laureates will be announced at a dinner at Badminton on 3 May.

ERA chairman Clayton Fredericks said: “There are so many heroes in our sport and through the Hall of Fame we hope to honour them.”
