Donations pour in to save Adelaide three-day event

  • The organiser of the Adelaide three-day event has said she is “blown away” by the generosity of riders and eventing enthusiasts who have donated to the rescue fund.

Last week (news, 28 May), Gillian Rolton announced the four-star event (13-15 November) would not go ahead unless A$100,000 (£49,200) could be raised.

Now A$45,000 has been donated and numerous fund-raising activities are planned.

“We are not quite over the line, but it looks very encouraging,” said Ms Rolton.
