Clayton Fredericks wins a Harley Davidson at Portuguese two-star

  • Australian eventer Clayton Fredericks has upped his rock star credentials with a new Harley Davidson motorbike.

Clayton, who posed as rock god Axl Rose last year won the CIC** Harley Davidson Horse Trials held at Herdade Vale, Portugal, (26-27 February) on Bendigo.

First prize was €4100 and a Harley Davidson Sportster, which Clayton took for a spin before mounting the podium.

Clayton is still in Portugal, where he will be taking part in Barocca Horse Trials (2-6 March and 9-13 March).

His spokesman said: “Clayton was determined to win himself the Harley, but now we have the issue of trying to get it home.

“He has five horses in the box so there’s no room for a motorcycle.”
