Classes cancelled at Tweseldown

  • The recent spell of wet weather in the south of England has led to the cancellation of all Tweseldown (1) sections scheduled to run on Thursday and Friday this week. A decision will be made on Wednesday as to whether Saturday and Sunday’s classes will take place.

The sodden ground at Tweseldown Racecourse near Aldershot has made it impossible for the event to run on the first two days. But the weather is currently sunny and there is still some hope for Saturday and Sunday’s classes.

“Officials will inspect the course again tomorrow,” said a spokesperson for British Eventing. “Hopefully it might have dried up a bit by then.”
